What is a branded or “white label” gallery?
White label is just a way of saying that a service shows your business name and branding, even when another company runs it behind the scenes.
Imagine a couple opening their wedding photos. Instead of a plain page that looks like any other website, they see the photographer’s logo, colours and business name.
Help customers recognise the business they booked.
Make the page look like the rest of your business.
Send invitations and reminders with your business details.
If you choose the optional extra, even the gallery link can use your business’s website address.
Why does this matter?
When someone has paid you for photographs, they expect the finished gallery to feel like part of your service. Familiar branding helps them feel confident that they have opened the right link.
It can also save you time. Set up your usual branding once, then use it when creating galleries for new customers.
What is a custom domain?
A domain is simply a website address, such as yourstudio.co.uk. If you own that address, you might choose to use something like galleries.yourstudio.co.uk for your client photos.
This is optional and costs extra. You don’t need a custom domain to put your logo, name and colours on a PhotoUpload gallery.
How does PhotoUpload help?
With a Business account, save your business name, logo and usual colours in your settings. Use them in Guest Upload Galleries and Client Galleries.
PhotoUpload can also send client invitations and reminders using your branding. You can choose whether to show PhotoUpload promotional branding, and set where customers’ email replies should go.
Good to know: your customers just open their private gallery link. They don’t need to create a PhotoUpload account.
